YouRipper is a small, easy to use utility which enables the end-user to download videos from the YouTube and Google Video websites.

YouRipper is a small utility application which enables the end-user to rip and download video footage from both the YouTube and Google Video websites.


While YouTube unfortunately does not provide any method of saving the videos displayed on their site, Google does provide limited downloading; namely, in formats for iPod and Sony PSP. For PC owners however, Google only makes the video available for download in their own .gvi format; requiring their own Google Video Player to view the file.


YouRipper provides the end-user with the capability to save these video files to your hard-drive as a standard Flash Movie (*.flv). Form here you can view the videos in your chosen Flash Movie Player or, copyright permitting, incorporate it into your own projects or online services.


YouRipper's integral RSS Feed Reader, which is pro-loaded with feeds from YouTube and Google Video will keep the enduser easily informed of What's New and What's Hot on these web-sites.
