It supports Xbase applications' compatible lock ( DBASE, DBASE4BDE, DBASEIII, DBASEIV, CLIPPER, CLIPPER5.3, PowerPlus, SoftC, FOXBASE, FOXPRO, FOXPRO4BDE, and VFP). It supports FlexFile3, SIxMemo, DB2K, IDX, CDX, NDX, MDX, NTX, and CGP. It supports DBF, DBC, DCT,DCX, DBT, FPT, SMT, and user-defined extensions. Cp895(Czech MS - DOS 895), Cp620(Polish MS - DOS 620) and Mazovia are extra supported although JVM doesn't support those. For remote access mode, it provides a GUI database server manager with remote control capability, which can run as Windows service, Unix/Linux daemon, or standalone application. It supports seamlessly files and directories in ZIP, BZ2, and TAR files in jdbc url and sql.
